Computer recycling in early days

Computer recycling or sometimes called as e-scrap recycling in the early days was of simple type. Recyclers of computers, who were frequently solid waste or junk companies, which treated computers simply as a resource for earning revenue, charged customers for the collection of their e-scrap materials and used computers. Generally, the company of waste management then simply loaded the item in a container meant for delivering the same to overseas countries like China or many other developing states.

However, the outlook has changed now and majority of the companies for waste management and recycling, which treated the items in terms of commodity angle only are also realizing about the significance of environment also. Now, computer recycling is being termed as remarketing of computer assets since all these recyclers through refurbishing, recovering and remarketing the items, which have still their worth and are capable of removing the liability of downstream from the equation of recycling. Actually, recyclers can frequently add value to the organization disposing of the old computer materials.
